During all of the years that I sold used DVDs on eBay, this is my number one method of finding DVDs to resell. I have never before given away this information or link, but I honestly want to give you all the secrets I have used for the last 10 years to source products to resell on eBay.

Finding lots of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs on eBay to resell on eBay seems like a simple enough concept. However, if you simply browse for wholesale lots DVDs & Blu-Ray you will be missing many great offers. If you do a basic search you will either miss quite a few great lots or you will get a bunch of single items and junk that you are not interested in.

Bidspotter.com is a great way to find stuff to resell on eBay. Bidspotter is a website that broadcasts live auctions over the internet. You can listen live to the auctions as they happen and place your bid on your computer in the comforts of your own home or office. I have had some success using their service for eBay product sourcing.

BidSpotter focuses mainly on industrial type products, but there is some great profit to be made if you take the time to do the proper research. One of the best things about BidSpotter is the research you can perform on the items that are offered. Each auction publishes the inventory list prior to the start date. You will have plenty of time to research the items you are interested in on eBay and come up with your maximum bid price. In addition, the website posts the winning bids of past auctions. BidSpotter has many of the same auctioneers as clients and those auctioneers usually sell the same type of items. You can easily check past auctions to see if it will be worth the effort to do the research on upcoming auctions.

BidSpotter offers two types of bidding. The first is live bidding. You can download their software and listen to the auction as it happens. Just wait for the item you are wanting to bid on and place your bid just like you would if you were actually at the auction. However, in this case you are at your computer with all the research tools you need to place an educated bid. The second type of bidding is absentee bidding. If you see some items you want to bid on before the auction starts and you won’t be in front of your computer during the live auction, you can place an absentee bid and your bid will be entered when the items are being bid on. In both cases, you must be pre-registered before you can bid.

Most of the auctions require you to arrange your own shipping. Therefore, you will be somewhat limited by location as it is not feasible to pick something up across the country. However, some auction companies do offer shipping. You will want to be aware of the costs involved in shipping prior to bidding. Find Upcoming Auctions In Your Area - Many of your local auction houses will place their weekly auction information on this site. It is one convenient place to look for upcoming auctions.
Find Auctions In Your State That You Won’t Find In Your Local Newspaper - If you are willing to travel outside of your immediate area you will find a huge selection of regional auctions you can go to each week.
Search For Your Niche Item - Do you like selling in one certain niche? This site has a great search function where you can search for a certain keyword in all live auctions from 30-500 miles away. I have used this search function many times to find regional auctions for a specific items I like to sell.
